Charity Abseiling Venues – Nationwide Locations and Professional Support
At Dolomite Training, we deliver charity abseil events across the UK, from major cities to unique indoor and outdoor locations. In addition, we support both bespoke venue-based events nationwide and selected established abseil locations, depending on your requirements.
Whether you already have a venue in mind or need help choosing the right location, we can assist with planning, suitability checks, and full event delivery. If a new venue is being considered, we will arrange a site visit to ensure it is appropriate for a safe and successful abseil event.
Our site visits include a detailed Risk Assessment and Method Statement, giving full confidence that all safety measures are in place before your event goes ahead. Copies of our insurance and staff qualifications are also available on request.
Bespoke Charity Abseil Events
We specialise in delivering bespoke charity abseil events across the UK. We work with charities, corporate organisations, schools, universities, and community groups to create tailored fundraising experiences that suit your goals and location.
Rather than a fixed set of venues, we can come to you and design an abseil event around your chosen building or structure, subject to suitability and safety approval.
From initial discussions through to on-site delivery, we manage the full process. This includes venue assessment, site visits, risk assessments, and method statements to ensure everything is fully planned and professionally delivered.
Whether you already have a building in mind or need help identifying a suitable location, we can advise on feasibility, access requirements, and setup options.
Our approach is flexible. Therefore, we can scale events from small group challenges to large-scale fundraising days. Every event is fully supported by our qualified instructor team, with all equipment, safety systems, and insurance provided.

How do I organise a charity abseil?
Organising an abseil is a structured process. We guide you from enquiry through to delivery.
First, we discuss your goals, location, and group size.
Next, we review venue suitability using photos or videos.
After that, we provide an indicative quote based on your requirements.
If the site is new, we then carry out a full site visit.During this visit, we assess:
- Suitability of the venue
- Rigging options
- Participant flow
- Staffing needs
Following this, we produce full RAMS documentation and confirm final pricing.
Once booked, we help you prepare while you promote your event. Meanwhile, we handle all technical delivery.
On the day, our team arrives early, sets up all equipment, and manages the abseil from start to finish. We usually ask charity volunteers to assist with participant sign-in and general coordination on site. However, we can provide additional staffing support if required.
What is included in a charity abseil event?
We provide a complete, professionally managed charity abseil package to ensure your event is safe, well-organised, and fully supported from start to finish. All specialist abseiling equipment is included, such as harnesses, helmets, ropes, and rigging systems. Every item is regularly inspected, maintained, and compliant with current industry safety standards.
Your event is led by our experienced instructor team, who provide full support throughout - from initial planning and site assessment through to delivery on the day and participant supervision.
We also hold £10 million public liability insurance through a specialist provider, giving reassurance to charities, venues, and participants.

Do you run bespoke charity abseil events anywhere in the UK?
Yes. Our core service is delivering bespoke charity abseil events at locations across the UK. We can work with buildings or structures you already have in mind, or help you source a suitable venue. All sites are subject to a full safety assessment, including a site visit and risk assessment where required.
How much does a charity abseil cost?
The cost of a charity abseil depends on the venue, group size, location, and event requirements. Bespoke events are individually priced based on planning and logistics. Open events at Millers Dale have set participant pricing. Please contact us for a tailored quote based on your requirements.

We operate in most weather conditions. However, if conditions become unsafe, such as high winds or lightning, we may pause the event.
In most cases, weather interruptions are short and we resume once safe. If cancellation is required, we will aim to reschedule where possible.
We recommend organisers consider cancellation insurance for added protection.
